Cardinal Mooney played a double header this weekend and won both games.  CM got a solid performance out of a defense that held Gainesville to only one goal and Buchholz to only 5.   Leading the scoring was attackman Mike Kahl who scored 10 goals on the day. Chase Osterman was the ground ball leader for the CM Cougars and goalie Andrew Sileo had a very strong day. Coach Wright’s assessment? “We were pleased with our unselfish play on offense but see that we need to work on ground balls.” Cardinal Mooney (3-0) will be hosting All Saints Academy (1-1) on Thursday.
