Casey Powell Resigns From St. Andrew’s

Written by Lee Roggenburg on . Posted in .
Casey Powell has stepped down from his position as lacrosse director at St. Andrew’s. Powell became lacrosse director before the 2011 season after the departure of Jeff Goldberg.  In his three seasons the Scots have compiled a record of 60 wins and 8 losses. They reached the State Championship game in all three years of his tenure, facing Lake Highland all three times.  His teams were 1-2 in the big game. In a statement released by the school Powell said, “I really enjoyed my three years at Saint Andrew’s working with such great student-athletes, I’m excited about the next chapter in my life as I pursue other opportunities in the lacrosse world.” Head Coach RJ Dawson will stay on board in his current position as head coach.
