The Columbus Explorers led by head coach Jim Delang once again rose to the challenge and defeated a strong Gulliver team by a score of 11-6 to win the District Championship. Despite the efforts of the Gulliver defense the Explorer attack remained strong once again led by a great game by Senior Nicky Rodrigo recording 6 goals and an assist. Gulliver managed to stay in the game with the goal scoring of Ryan Cordero who managed 4 goals in their effort. The scoring for Columbus was aided by the efforts of Junior Steven Hernandez who added three goals and three assists, and goals by Sebastian Cancio and Grant Nordlund.
