thanks to Bridgette Gale, Athletic Media Relations Assistant – Jacksonville University for this press release!   JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The normal flow of a lacrosse match frequently looks to be organized chaos. Wednesday at D. B. Milne Field, chaos may be taken to a new level because the Robert Morris men’s lacrosse team is coming to town. “Their style of play is different than most teams we play,” JU coach Guy Van Arsdale said. “They’re a frenetic-type team, they thrive on chaos. They’re good a creating it and good at playing in it.” The Colonials come into the game with a 1-4 record but got untracked with their first win Saturday, a 12-10 victory over Siena. “They’re very skilled and handle the ball very well and they punish you for mistakes you make,” Van Arsdale said. “Possession and taking care of the ball and ground balls, all those things are really, really important against a team like this that plays that style and plays it well.” The Dolphins, according to senior attacker Rob Moore, can’t get caught up in the bedlam. “They have a real unorthodox style of play,” Moore said. “They have a lot of Canadians so they can shoot the ball and they’re a team that once they get hot they’re tough to stop. With their erratic style of play we’ve got to be ready for anything and can’t let their style of play determine how we play. We just need to run our offense, our defense, and don’t let them determine how the game will be played.” In fact, Robert Morris has 18 players (of 39 on the roster) from Canada. The game will be the third in eight days for the team which has included a win over Michigan and a loss to Marquette last Friday. Van Arsdale said a review of the Marquette game didn’t turn up any new information for JU which now is 2-2. “We had some unforced turnovers in the beginning of the game that gave them extra possessions and when you give them extra possessions they’re really good at making you pay for it,” he said. “We need to do a better job when the ball goes on the ground on our defensive end we need to get it and get it out. We gave them some second and third chances that good teams convert on.” Chase McIntyre (Vancouver, British Columbia) and Tom Moore (West Islip, N.Y.) lead the Dolphin scorers with nine goals each and Moore has 10 assists for 19 points. On defense, senior Austin Curtis (Marcy, N.Y.) leads the team with eight caused turnovers. The Robert Morris game originally was scheduled for 3 p.m. but has been moved to 1 p.m. and will be shown on ESPN3. ### Bridgette Gale Athletic Media Relations Assistant Jacksonville University (o):(904)-256-7761 (c): (904)-599-0801
