The Episcopal School of Jacksonville put together their most complete game of the young season Friday night and disposed of Fletcher by a final score of 11-5. Junior Captain Quinton Miller continued his torrid scoring pace with 5 goals and 2 assists. Senior Captain Jake Jangro added 2 goals. On defense, the Eagles Senior Captain Zach Gerry, Juniors Jonathon Killea and Michael Himebach kept the Fletcher attackman of balance while Sophomore Mick Upchurch held Fletcher Senior and leading scorer R.J. Raymond scoreless until late in the 4th period.
Leading 6 – 1 at the break, the Eagle’s got a huge lift from Senior Captain Dominick Johnigean who entered the game in the 2nd half and made several key saves in one-on-one situations. Johnigean playing in just his second game of the year after an early season injury, finished the half with 11 saves.
