Author’s Note: Given how short a period of time the Gators program has been around this is an accomplishment the local lacrosse community has not focused on enough. If you are a fan of the Girls game and live in the Gainesville area and have not yet gone out to watch a game then please do so! The school built a lacrosse only facility that is a superb place to watch a game. Go out and support them and maybe we will be watching them on Memorial Day weekend as they look to win a national championship.2016 IWLCA Division I Poll – April 11, 2016 The defending national champions swept all 20 first place votes, landing the Maryland Terrapins (12-0) in the top spot of the IWLCA Division I Coaches Poll for the tenth regular season week in a row.
