Get to Know Bo Garrison, One of Florida’s Top Uncommitted Seniors

The Naples area is in a “coming of age” period in which we are beginning to see a crop of true top prospects coming out of there. It started with Barron Collier HS but Gulf Coast High School has become a force. In 2012 a headline here at FLN read, “Barron Collier Cruises Past Gulf Coast.” A story about a predictable 19-5 rout. Two years later, in 2014 the story was, “Barron Collier Wins The War On The Shore Over Gulf Coast 8-6.” The Gulf Coast story had gone from a predictable blow out in the regular season to the “war on the shore” in an important play off game. If you ask Gulf Coast head coach, Joe Meyer, (which we did) he’ll tell you that a big part of that turn around is Bo Garrison.
“Bo is one of our senior players that every coach dreams of having. Bo’s Lacrosse aptitude is top notch as evident by his All-American and All -Star awards, but it’s his intangible Lacrosse qualities that make him a top prospect. He is a player who has always put his team above his play. He is a Captain that gets respect from his work ethic alone. He is a player that other teams plan for and has the innate ability to change his game on the fly to compensate for that planning,” Joe Meyer.Check out Bo’s Highlight Reel Full Name: Bo GarrisonPosition: Midfield/FOHeight: 6 2 Weight: 190 High School Team: Gulf Coast High School Club Team: West Florida, Delaware Silverbacks and Florida National Lacrosse Lacrosse Honors: US Lacrosse All American, Brine All American, 2 x First Team All Conference, 2 x All Area, 2014 team captain, MVP3 All Star, Brine National Lacrosse Classic All Star.
