There is a ton of North Florida buzz about Ryan Kirchhoff.  He had a strong junior season but is really attacking some attention this summer.  We caught up with Brian Duncan and asked him what it’s all about.

“Ryan Kirchhoff is a hard working down hill dodger. His size and strength is his best attribute. He is very competitive and is becoming a student of the game. His leadership in 2015 will help The Bolles School team compete at a high level. I believe he will be noticed and be playing at a D1 school.”

FLN – What kind of college experience are you looking?

RK – I am looking for a school that will benefit me academically as well as athletically and be a good fit overall. (I would like the SEC to add D1 men’s lacrosse.)

FLN – What camps, teams, or clinics are on your schedule for the rest of the off season?

RK – I attended the Baltimore Summer Kickoff with FNL and I am attending Hotbeds with Team Florida.

FLN – How Would You Describe Your Game?

RK – Athletic and Physical.  I enjoy clearing the ball as well as passing and dodging on offense.

FLN – What Was Your First Lacrosse Experience?

RK – In 7th grade our school had 3 teams with everyone starting to get into playing lacrosse so I did that team and played that summer and have played every season and summer since.

FLN – Who Was Your Biggest Lacrosse Influence?

RK – My Coach, Brian Duncan.  He has pushed and encouraged me mentally and physically over the past few years which got me where I am today.

FLN – Which College/Pro Players Do You Like Watching The Most?

RK – Myles Jones, Tommy Schreiber, Chad Tutton

FLN – What Is Your Lacrosse Goal For the 2015 season?

RK – Help lead my team to a state championship.

FLN – What would you like your teammates to say about you?

RK -I would like them to say I am a good leader and a good presence on the field.
