Get to Know Kurt Sisco, One of Florida’s Top Uncommitted Seniors

Kurt Sisco is a rising senior midfielder for Lake Mary high school.  He has been on the varsity since his freshman year.  Kurt is know for his high-speed high-impact style of lacrosse, a terror on GBs coming off the wing, a big north-south threat up top and often as the 1-man clear in crunch time. KS – I’m looking for a relatively large to medium size school. If I was given the chance to play college lacrosse then my major would most likely be business or finance. FLN – What camps, teams, clinics are on your schedule for the rest of the off season? KS – Hotbeds  With Team Florida Jaguars. FLN – How Would You Describe Your Game? LM-Kurt-Sisco-414KS – I am a very quick player that thrives off of groundball play and quick transition. Defense is my best on field addition to the team but my specialty is creating turnovers and creating opportunities in uneven situations. FLN – What Was Your First Lacrosse Experience? KS – The first time I remember something significant in my lacrosse career was when I failed to make the Florida Possums elite team in 7th grade from then on I strived to be the best I could and prove to everyone what a mistake they made. FLN – Who Was Your Biggest Lacrosse Influence? KS – The people that made me who I am today were Jack Pease and Jarod Forehand they taught me how to play my strengths while I was an up and coming player. Coach Robinson and Coach Hogan taught me everything I know on how to be an advanced player and potentially be one of the best athletes in the State. FLN – Which College/Pro Players Do You Like Watching The Most? KS – My favorite college player is Jordan Wolf the quickness in his change of direction is unreal and just a spectacle to watch. FLN – What Is Your Lacrosse Goal for the 2015 season? KS – Be an All American player and win the state championship game. FLN – What would you like your teammates to say about you? KS – I would like them to say that I am more of a friend than a teammate on the field. I don’t believe great captains scream and yell at someone but is more of a person that pushes, helps, and compliments teammates on what they do. Favorite Meal: Any type of Grilled Chicken.
