Gulf Breeze High School Girls Lacrosse beat Pensacola High School 11-1 and now holds the top spot in District 1. The Dolphins came out slow the first half but got the momentum moving scoring 7 goals in the second half. The Dolphins spread the offense around getting goals from six different players; Avery Curington 2 goals Kaytlyn Carlson 2 goals 1 assist Reilly Thompson 2 goals KateReagan Costello 2 goals 1 assist Frances Williams 1 goal 1 assist Megan Pewitt 1 goal Defensively, the Dolphins were led by Adriana Fuentealba and Alanna Zambetti in goal. Stand outs for Pensacola High School were Rachel Varias and Lexie Nielsen in goal. Tricia Kay McAuley scored PHS’s lone goal.
