We think many proud mothers will agree yesterday was a giant day for lacrosse in the State of Florida!  We will have several reports later today and this week on the events including a picture of Mikey Stolzenberg scoring a goal at Pockets and Sockets, the statewide Senior All-Star Game held at FAU (picture above, many more to follow), the Team Florida Showcase in Palm Coast and the annual awards banquet of the South Florida Chapter of US Lacrosse during which our own Lee Roggenburg was honored as Man of the Year.  With Lee’s permission, we will print the transcript of his speech.  Maybe we are prejudiced, but we loved it (and he did not mention Hobart that often).  He did quote Shakespeare… For now, enjoy Mother’s Day!
