Lake Highland dominated the early play and took a 2-0 lead at the 8:19 mark of the first period on goals by Clark and senior attackman Will Rotatori and before Timber Creek had their first offensive possession. The Wolves settled down and used slick interior passing to score four unanswered goals to take their largest lead of the contest at 4-2 with 8:43 remaining in the second period. Clark then scored two more of his goals to knot the score at 4 all before Timber Creek added one more tally to take a 5-4 lead at the half. Lake Highland next plays Northview GA on Thursday evening where the 2011 seniors will be honored before the game.
