Jackie Schaefer led Lake Brantley in scoring with five goals and one assist to open the season with a home victory over Lake Highland Prep.

Polly Peck scored three for the Highlanders, but it was not enough as the Patriots cruised to a 14-8 win.

Lake Brantley will host West Orange this Friday and the Highlanders will travel to Winter Springs for their second of three road games to start the season.
