John Dorsett, Benjamin’s senior defenseman, is heading to  Gettysburg College next year.  Dorsett played his club lacrosse for the Palm Beach Storm and Team Florida.  He currently has a 3.85 GPA and plans to major in economics at Gettysburg.  Gettysburg plays NCAA DIII lacrosse in the Centennial Conference. “After moving to Florida mid-way through my sophomore year I deeply appreciate and am thankful for my parents devotion and commitment to continue allowing me to travel and play lacrosse. With great help from Coach Shane Rye I was able to receive exposure, great coaching and his lacrosse knowledge. I would also like to thank Coach Goldberg for coaching me this last summer, and the fun experience I had with Team Florida. Also, I give a big shout out to Coach Cheatham for accepting me into the Benjamin community and making my transition smooth.”
