Senior John Grube continued his torrid scoring pace for Episcopal with 7 goals tonight against Nease as the Eagles blew past the Panthers 17-8. Seniors Scott Powell (3 goals, 1 assist), Matt Stiefel (1goal). Junior Jake Jangro (2 goals) and Sophomore Quinton Miller (3 goals, 1 assist) joined in on the scoring while Junior R.J. Raymond secured 19 of 22 faceoffs and added 1 goal and 1 assist. On defense, Junior goalie Dominick Johnigean had another solid performance for the Eagles defending 19 shots and yielding only 3 goals in 3 1/2 quarters. Defensemen Zach Gerry, B. J. Dozier, Trey Pappas, Jonathon Killea and C.J Easton kept the Panthers offense off balance all night. Justin Finch scored a Hat Trick for Nease. Episcopal faces arch rival Bolles Friday night before defending their district championship next week.
