Buchholz Outlasts Olympia 6-5

Buchholz held on to win a close one at Olympia 6-5. Buchholz scorers: Jackson McKaig (3,0), Finn Swanson (2,0), Colton Alexander (1,0), Briggs Kirby (0,1), Nick Sivils (0,1), Adam Millinoff (0,1), Max Troha (0,1).  Buchholz goalie, Ilie Tomlin, had 16 saves (pictured above) Olympia scorers: Greg Ferone (2,0), Nick Briggs (1,0), Gray Johnson (1,0), Braydon Liadro (1,0) Buchholz advances to 11-4, the most single-season wins in history of the 5 year old lacrosse program, with the prior record being 9 wins in the Buchholz 9-8 season in 2011. Buchholz’s next game is Saturday, April 13th as they host Senior Day against Gainesville High School in their final regular season match-up before playing Trinity Catholic in the District 7 Semi-Finals on Wednesday at 5 pm at Citizens Field in Gainesville. Olympia’s  record is now 6-7 and their next game is against Seminole, followed by The First Academy to finish the regular season before enter the District Semi-Finals against Lake Nona.
