Turning Point The turning point in Monday’s contest came in the final eight minutes of play. Keiser clung to an 8-7 lead until the Wildcats scored four unanswered goals in the final eight minutes to claim the 11-8 victory over the Seahawks. How it Happened
  • Wilmington struck first in the opening 38 seconds as La’Dae Boykin provided the Wildcats with the early 1-0 lead.
  • The Seahawks rebounded to score consecutive goals to claim the 2-1 advantage.
  • Both Keiser goals were scored 26 seconds apart as Maria Johnson and Tabetha Fike each found the back of the net early on.
  • Wilmington answered with two goals of its own to reclaim the 3-2 advantage with 18:54 left in the first half.
  • Sullivan, making her season debut, knotted the contest at 3-3 with 17:02 remaining in the opening half.
  • The Wildcats went on to score three of the final four first-half goals to take the 6-4 advantage into the half as Frankie Parshall netted the final Keiser goal of the opening half.
  • Both squads traded goals to open the second half as Johnson cut the deficit in half but Boykin extended the Wilmington lead back to two.
  • The Seahawks went on a 3-0 run over a six-minute span to claim the 8-7 advantage with 14:10 remaining in regulation.
