Mar. 23rd – Lake Highland (8-4; 4-0 District 11) jumped to a 10-0 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back in defeating the Timber Creek Wolves 18-6 this afternoon to win the O-Town Showdown.  Twelve different Highlanders tallied goals in the contest, led by twin hat tricks from Sophomore Attack Conner Aniello and Freshman Midfielder Jackson Colling.  Seniors Billy Roll (1G, 4A) and Clay Phillips (2G, 2A) along with Junior Will Wolfson (2G) rounded out the list of multiple point contributors for Lake Highland.  Timber Creek was led by four goals from Attackman Scott Turner.   Bruce Preeschl and Justin Higgins each added a goal for the Wolves. The Highlanders next travel to Ft. Lauderdale on Tuesday evening to face St. Thomas Acquinas.  Timber Creek heads to Lake Brantley on April 1.
