Photo courtesy of Enstone Images March 12th – Lake Highland traveled to Showalter Field to play Winter Park Wednesday night. The Highlanders controlled the pace of play for most of the game, both on offensive and defense. Nine (9) different players for Lake Highland scored and seven (7) different players provided assists.  Both goalies were tested by strong shooting on both sides. Adam Sawicki had 6 saves on 7 shots on goal, while Winter Park recorded 9 saves. Lake Highland defense was led by Griff Caligiuri with 8 ground balls.  Junior Reid Thedford (4 goals and 1 assist) and Senior  Ben Prizer (2 goals and 1 assist) led the Highlanders in scoring.  Alan Gergley led Winter Park with 2 goals.  LHP next travels to South Florida on Saturday to play #1 Nationally ranked Boys Latin from Baltimore, Maryland at St. Andrews School.
