The Launch ended the season with their 4th win in 5 games in a convincing fashion over the playoff bound Rochester Rattlers, 18-11 on Saturday night at FAU stadium.  The Launch took command of the game late in the second quarter after Stephen Brooks nailed a two-pointer in the last minute of the half, followed by two more goals to take a 10-7 lead.  Florida gradually pulled away in the second half as Brett Queener followed Austin Kaut’s first half performance with a tremendous performance of his own in goal. Fans were left with a taste of what might well come next year as well as a feeling of ‘what-if’ had this rookie class been available earlier in the season. The team is on the right path and local fans certainly look forward to a potential playoff berth next year.
