via press release   The Florida Launch today announced the re-signing of two-time Major League Lacrosse All-Star Kieran McArdle. The two-year deal will keep McArdle with the Launch through the 2018 season. “Kieran is one of the best in the MLL. He has a drive to excel and is a tenacious competitor,” said Launch Head Coach Tom Mariano. “His priority is to take the Launch to championship level.” Since entering the league as the fifth overall pick in 2014, McArdle has been one of the most dominant attackman with 170 points in 40 career games. The St. Johns product earned MLL Rookie of the Year honors in his first season and has gone on to lead the Launch in points the last two seasons. In 2016, McArdle enjoyed one of his best seasons to date by leading the team in both goals and assists. The Launch are set to return to action on April 22 as a part of a three game roadshow dubbed “The Florida Tour.” The tour will take professional lacrosse to three different Florida cities for the first time.
