Naples, Fl. – Giving back has always been a part of Ron Miller’s life.  As a parent of a special needs child, he has always recognized the need to help others who may not be able to help themselves.  Hence, his lacrosse program, Lax4Autism (L4A).  L4A not only trains athletes to be top lax players, but also to be outstanding people.  With that in mind L4A took a group of 30 volunteers to the SWFL Special Olympics District Golf Tournament in Naples at Royal Palm Golf Club. This is the 1st year Lax4Autism has volunteered to help with Special Olympics.  “Our student-athletes had a great time,” said Miller. “It’s an awesome opportunity to be part of something special and we intend to continue to support SO and other organization in need on a monthly basis.” Lacrosse players from Team Florida and Gulf Coast, Barron Collier, Golden Gate, Palmetto Ridge, Community School, & Estero High Schools, as well as Collier County Lacrosse Association (CCLA), U of Cumberland’s and FGCU all volunteered at the event.
