Lynn: Lacrosse Moves up in Rankings; Prepares for Road Trip

via press release – photo via Lynn web site   Perry, N.Y. – Lynn University’s lacrosse team didn’t even see the field this past week but made a move in the USILA/Nike Division II Coaches Poll. The Fighting Knights come in at No. 12 in the second release of the 2017 poll, marking the highest the program has ever been ranked. The Fighting Knights are 2-0 on the season with a win over then No. 8 Adelphi. Following the two wins, Lynn entered the rankings last week at No. 15, a program-best at the time. The USILA poll can be found here. Additionally, the Blue and White moved up one spot to No. 10 in the Nike/US Lacrosse Magazine rankings, found here. The Fighting Knights are preparing to hit the road for the first time this season over the weekend. Lynn will first stop in Roswell, Ga., for a neutral site battle against Young Harris on Saturday, March 4 at 4 p.m. and conclude on Tuesday, March 7 at Wingate. The Wingate Bulldogs are receiving votes in the USILA Poll.
