Lynn University Looking for a Head Coach for NCAA Dll Team

Lynn University, an NCAA Division II school and a member of the Sunshine State Conference, is accepting applications for the position of Head Men’s Lacrosse coach. This is a 12-month, full-time position. The ideal candidate will begin duties in January 2013. The university’s men’s lacrosse team will enroll its inaugural class in fall 2013. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the organization, administration and coaching of the men’s lacrosse program; recruiting qualified student-athletes; managing the budget responsibly; garnering support from the local community, fans, and campus constituents; monitoring student-athletes’ academic progress; scheduling contests and practice; organizing travel and game day preparations; committing to university, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations. Qualifications: Candidate must have knowledge of NCAA rules and compliance as well as effective communication, player relations, and leadership skills. Must have collegiate coaching experience.
