MCC’s Zach Fleis Scores 6 to Lead The Hustlers Past Oviedo

MCC has now won ten straight games . This one was a back and forth game of runs by both teams. MCC opened the game with 3 quick goals before Oviedo came back to tie it up by halftime at 7-7. MCC again opened the second half on a run taking a 13-8 lead into the 4th quarter. Oviedo would not quit and was able to tie it up at 15-15 late in the fourth quarter.
Melbourne Central Catholic won key face-offs down the stretch to open up a 3 goal margin before winning 18-16.
Dakota Dunmire had 4 goals and 4 assists for Oviedo. Ryan Kortus scored five times and Davis Goodman scored twice and had 5 assists. MCC’s Zach Fleis continued his prolific scoring with 6 goals. Garrett Arnold scored twice and added 5 assists and Quinn Lowdermilk added 1 goal, 2 assists and 12 ground balls. Dylan Lowdermilk won 26 out 36 face-offs and also picked up 12 ground balls.
