MLL Franchise Set for South Florida in 2014?

Casey Powell sent out the following tweet on a potential franchise in South Florida. We at FLN are working the phones today to try to confirm and provide our readers with details as they come in.
10:11am update
FLN has spoken to a representative of MLL and they are not commenting on the story at this time. FLN will continue to try to confirm Casey’s tweet throughout the day.

They have also not gotten clarification from MLL.

FLN has still not been able to confirm the franchise being awarded through MLL officials. Other sources have indicated that the deal is done but would not disclose who is the buyer. IL.com has named Medallion Financial as a possible owner (this would be a second franchise, as they own the NY Lizards) but one source told us that they didn’t think that group was involved.
