Florida’s premier college recruiting showcase, Nexstar, is proud to announce the addition of Coach Ryan Burton to the Partnership. Coach Burton is the Head Coach at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.  Their lacrosse team was ranked in the top 5 high school teams in 2015.  Doug Shanahan. 1st Tewaarton Award Winner,  says “Ryan’s experience both on and off the field will be an invaluable addition to our team and we are looking forward to working with him”. The event, to be held on January 9th and 10th 2016, will be moving to a new location this year to allow for an increase in participants.  The showcase will take place a Pine Trails Park in Parkland, and will be open to boys from 8th through 12th grade. In addition, the showcase is adding a youth clinic for boys from K – 7th grade.  New this year, the clinic will allow participants to benefit from world class coaching and develop skills in preparation for future showcases. Shanahan, says he is excited about the new format, and hopes to continue to assist South Florida youth to be recruited by the best colleges throughout the country.
