Written by Lee Roggenburg on . Posted in .
Oviedo High School’s senior middie, Greg Strobl, has committed to Saint Leo.  Greg plays club lacrosse for the Oviedo Pride and the Florida Possums. Saint Leo is looking to make a run at the final Deep South Conference Championship this spring and a slot in the newly expanded Division 2 National Championship tournament.  In 2014 Saint Leo will join the other Florida D2 programs in moving to the Sunshine State Conference. “I would like to thank my family, especially my parents, for supporting me throughout all my years of lacrosse. Also I would like to thank Coach Sean O’Dell and Coach Rene Kortus from Oviedo for helping me over all the years. Additionally I would like to thank my teammates for making high school lacrosse such a great experience.” “I was drawn to St Leo because I really liked Coach Jorgensen as a person and I was very impressed with the new lacrosse facilities and the new business school.”
