Markele Hearns, a defenseman from Port Charlotte is headed to one of the top JuCo programs in the country.  Genesee Community College is in the heart of New York’s lacrosse country situated about halfway between Rochester and Buffalo.  In 2012 Genesee Community College made it all the way to the final four of the Junior College National Championships for the second year in a row, finishing the season with an impressive 15-4 record.  They also took the WNYAC championship. Markele plans on Majoring sports management.
