
OVO Wins Derek Pieper Elite Division

OVO Lacrosse, comprised of Jesuit players, went 5-0 and Won the championship in the U-19 Elite Division against the Palm Beach Revolution at the Derek Pieper Tourney in Wesley Chapel. The final game was tight with a 2-1 score at halftime but OVO finished with a strong second half and pulled out an 8-4 victory. Seniors Stephano Mastro (5 goals) and Hunter Revord (2 goals) led the way with sophomore Brock Mondor adding one more. The tournament victory insures OVO of a bid in the Dick Sporting Goods Tournament of Champions coming up December 29-31. OVO also defeated, Florida Elite, and the Shamrocks en route to the tournament championship.
Madlax finished 4-1 in the Rising Stars division to earn the championship and a T.O.C. berth. The U15 group was won by FCA Gwinnett and Palm Beach Revolution 2020 won the U13 and the 2021 PB Revolution team won the U11 championship. The LaxRats took home the hardware for the U9 group.
