Above photo by Jose Marnotes In a battle for the South Tampa Cup, HB Plant High School outscored Robinson HS 16 – 1 last night in Plant’s home opener at Dad’s Stadium.   On a beautiful night for lacrosse, Plant was led in scoring once again by Senior Attackman Henry Brannan with 6 goals and 1 assist.   Brannan had help in the scoring department with Junior Attackman Matt Geary scoring 1 goal and 4 assists, Senior Attackman Danny Carlson chipped in with 4 assists, and Senior Middie Jackson Misner(USMMA) played a solid game by scoring 3 goals and 2 assists and 3 ground balls. Robinson was led in by Goalie Ryan Zesiger with 15 saves. The win gives Plant their first victory in District 15 and raises their overall record to 2 – 0.  Next up for Plant is a Friday night contest versus a very strong Steinbrenner team.
