On a rainy night in Tampa, HB Plant High School defeated arch rival Jesuit HS 17 – 5 at Jesuit’s Alumni Field. Plant’s seniors led the way in both offense and defense. Enrique Marnotes (Univ. of Tampa) led the way with 5 goals and 1 assist. He was also strong in face offs with a 73% winning percentage. Senior attack man Henry Brannan scored 4 goals, senior attack man Danny Carlson had 2 goals and 2 assists, and senior middie Jackson Misner (USMMA)  had 3 goals, 1 assist, and 2 GB’s.  Plant was led on defense by Senior defenseman Bennett Taylor (Army-West Point)with 4 GB’s and 4 take aways. Plant’s man down unit held Jesuit to no goals in 8 opportunities.  Plant’s victory raised its overall record to 5-0 and 3-0 in the district.
