Pope John Paul’s Carter Jara Commits to Piedmont College

Boca Raton, FL Pope John Paul II  Carter Jara (2012) has officially committed to Piedmont College in Demorest, GA. Carter has played for the Eagles in his junior and senior year under the direction of Coach Andrew Bolger and prior to that he played at Spanish River HS. Jara, making his commitment to play for the Lions, made a tough decision over great lacrosse programs at Ferrum College (VA) and Berry College (GA). Piedmont College debuts this year as a new NCAA Division III lacrosse program. Carter has played lacrosse for Coach Andrew Bolger’s “Florida Elite & Swashbucklers” Club Team, Palm Beach Men’s Lax, Delray Riptide and Coach Kevin Finneran’s “Finn’s Finest” Showcase Team.  Carter will study Business and Pre-Law at Piedmont. “Several accolades go out to; God, my family, Coach Bolger, Coach Finneran, Coach Doyle, Coach Johnson and numerous of friends, players and coaches who believed in me and helped me become the person, student and athlete I have become. Go Lions!”
