Get there early to get a seat. Our feature photo up top is Lake Highland’s Austin Tamayo (Washington and Lee) scoring two years ago against Boys’ Latin.  FLN will feature our Florida players at the next level when the season winds down. The nation’s number one ranked Lakers begin their annual Florida swing tomorrow night taking on the reigning Florida State Champions at St. Andrew’s School in Boca Raton.  Boys’ Latin plays St. Andrew’s at St. Andrew’s Tuesday night. There’s not a lot we have to say here.  Lake Highland Prep is easily one of the best teams in the state and is currently ranked third in the Southeast.  In the interest of expediency, please refer to a previous Lake Highland Prep preview. For Boys’ Latin, we counted twenty-two Division One commits and know there are a few more on the roster.  How do they all get playing time?  Take a look at this line-up: Seniors Shack Stanwick – Johns Hopkins Tal Bruno – Johns Hopkins Hunter Moreland – Johns Hopkins Hugh Bosko – Michigan Colin Chell – Ohio State David Pisanic – UMBC Evan Dohler – UMBC Keegan O’Connor – Loyola Brady Dashiell – Furman “T” Moyer – High Point Austin Brown – Richmond Christopher Lobo – Wheaton Riley Peters – Fairfield Jake Merrill – Mount St. Mary’s Pat McManus – Washington College Juniors Devin Shewell – Johns Hopkins Dylan Gaines – Denver Miles Cohen – Furman Patrick Spencer – Loyola Matt Sacks – Furman Liam Frerichs – Army Kyle Weatherford – Furman Sophomore Luke Shilling – Johns Hopkins Boys’ Latin finished last year as the second ranked team in the country.  This year’s edition may be better.  Bob Shriver is one of the premier high school coaches in the country.  Lake Highland’s Chris Spaulding is gaining a similar reputation.  Bring your young players and watch some of the college stars of tomorrow.
