From HALAX News Written by: Iulia Fratila Coach: Ashriel West Team: Girl’s Lacrosse Robinson High School Q: What are you expecting for the upcoming season? Can you give us an overview? A: Coach West started off by saying, “I really have the same team coming back. Only lost two players. Having the same team is a big help, the girls know each other and they know me and what I expect.” She also spoke about expanding the team and was hopeful of new girls joining the team. West said, “I am expecting more freshmen girls to tryout and I am excited to see how they do. A good turnout for tryouts is what I am expecting.” In terms of their opponents Coach West mentioned Plant High school being one of the teams toughest match-ups and playing Steinbrenner again is a match up she looks forward too. West said, “Were looking forward to play Steinbrenner because we lost to them three times so we would like to give it another try. We are also looking forward to play Tampa Catholic because they are a new team that we have not played yet, we don’t know anything about them.” Please read the rest here
