FloridaLacrosseNews.com recently caught up with Rebecca Sheinfeld (2012), American Heritage – Plantation’s Senior Captain and Midfielder. 2011 stats: 34 goals (70 shots, nearly 50% made), 32 assists, 66 points (5.1 per game), 111 ground balls, 71 forced turnovers, 26 draw controls. Rebecca is also a member of LaxManiax Team Florida Girls (TFG) 2012-2013 Black. We discussed her recent commitment to play Division-1 lacrosse next year at Campbell University in North Carolina and her thoughts on the upcoming spring high school lacrosse season: IFL: What three things have made you the lacrosse player you are today? I really became the player I am today with tons of practice (especially wallball), the incredible support and dedication from my family and my coaches to help me reach this point, and the love I have for this sport, which drives me to want to be better player every time I step out on the field. IFL: What stick do you use?  What’s best about it? I use a Harrow Groove shaft and a P7 head. I love how light it is and how easy it is to catch and throw with it. Go On to Part 2
