Ross Pridemore Commits to University of Virginia

Ross Pridemore spent his 8th grade year leading St. Ed’s Varsity in goals and assists.
Ross Pridemore is a 2018 attackman from Vero  Beach.  Last season he was a starter for St. Edward’s School (Vero Beach) varsity squad as an 8th grader.  Ross helped lead the Pirates to a 10-4 record and their first regular season District Championship in several years. St. Ed’s season ended in the District playoffs by falling to Vero Beach HS in a great 9-8 overtime game in which Pridemore scored 4 goals. He was named 1st team All-District, 1st team All-Area, and All-Region after scoring 47 goals and dishing out 27 assists for the season which led the team in both categories. Pridemore was also named MVP of the Dick’s Sporting Goods Tournament of Champions last December in Wesley Chapel, FL. Pridemore is now attending The Taft School in CT which is part of the powerful NE West 1 league. Pridemore’s family is well known in the lacrosse world. Older brother Ben was an Under Armour All American at MIAA power house Boys’ Latin School (Baltimore, MD) and now plays at Notre Dame.  His two older sisters, Katy and Hannah, were a big part of Vero Beach High School’s last three State Championship teams with Katy being named the Florida Player of the Year each of the last two seasons as well an Under Armour All American and a three time US Lacrosse All American.
