The Scots and Stallions battled in a district contest on opening night. The first half was low scoring with SA holding a 6-2 halftime lead. A carry-over foul at the end of the end of the second quarter gave Heritage the ball to start the 3d quarter. The Stallions scored 2 quick EMO goals to make the score 6-4. The Scots, thanks to great work at the faceoff X by Daniel Zamora, went on a 9-1 run to close out the game.
