South Florida Prime Showcase Team Makes Some Noise at King of the Hill

The South Florida Prime Showcase team made their mark at the King of the Hill tournament in Westminster, MD last weekend finishing 4th in a field of 16 teams from around the country.  Their great weekend including a dominant victory over the famous Green Turtle team by a score of 10-2. The South Florida Prime was finally stopped in the semifinals by Prime Time out of Westchester, NY.  They then fell to 3D NorCal in the 3rd place game. The team is made up of players from American Heritage, Archbishop McCarthy, University School, Cypress Bay, Pine Crest, Palmer Trinity, and Suncoast.  The team is coached by Chad Moore of American Heritage, Pete Dunne of the Barracudas program, and Florida’s all-time goal scoring leader Matty Bellando. Ryan Marek from Archbishop made the 2018 All Star team. Next up for the South Florida Prime is the Baltimore Summer Kickoff followed by Ultimate Performance Lax.
