Joining St. Andrews in moving up in the rankings are; Winter Park from 6 to 5, and Jupiter from 9-7. Teams sliding a little include LHP from the top spot to number 2, Benjamin went from 3 to 6, Boone and Boca both dropped one spot. Timber Creek has dropped out of the top ten for the first time this season and Bishop Moore has joined the rankings in the top ten spot.

Other teams receiving votes include Bartram Trail, Creekside, Episcopal, The First Academy, Lake Brantley, Lake Mary, Pine Crest, and Timber Creek. The FloridaLacrosseNews.com voters have selected the entire O-Town Showdown as the  “Game of the Week.” This Thursday through Saturday event taking place at Bishop Moore features four teams who are either on or have been on the FloridaLacrosseNews.com “Top Ten” list. Joey McMahon and his Bishop Moore teammates will take on Jake Rooney and Timber Creek and Sergio Salcido and the rest of the Winter Park Wildcats.  The Highlanders with Austin Tamayo will play Timber Creek and Winter Park. There should be some very well played lacrosse at this event.  The girls get things started on Thursday at 6pm and the first boys’ game will be Lake Highland vs. Timber Creek at 6:00 and host Bishop Moore taking on their long-time rivals from Winter Park at 8:00.
