Written by Lee Roggenburg on . Posted in .
Christina Wittmeier, a 2013 middie at St. Thomas Aquinas, has committed to play at Stetson. Stestson is one of Florida’s three D-1 Women’s Lacrosse programs.  2013 is the Hatters inaugural season and the first lacrosse season for the Atlantic Sun Conference. Wittmeier has been coached by Sarah and Trey Burlingame at LaxManiax and Troy Millican and Mark Geddis at STA. Christina has also played for Fans Favorites. Christina will be a three year varsity player for STA, earning all county and all region honors last season. Christina was originally a tennis player, having taken lessons and attending academies from the age of 4. She picked up a lacrosse stick in the spring of 8th grade. She played both tennis and lacrosse her freshman year at St. Thomas until she ultimately decided to focus on lacrosse, although she will always love tennis. Christina plans on studying forensic chemistry and pursuing a career with the FBI after grad school. Last summer she was invited to and attended the National Youth Leadership Forum on Law and CSI in Washington DC. If you have any photos from your signing day or have made a verbal commitment please send them to us, we would love to share them.  You can use the “submit recruit information” link at the top of the page.
