thanks to Taravella for sending in the recap and pictures   Author’s Note: Glad to see even more schools getting into the spirit!  In my first full year this was one of my favorite games to cover.  To the lacrosse community . . . submit the same type of recaps to us with pictures and we will be happy to do the same for you!   Taravella beat Coral Springs Charter 4-3 in a come from behind win today.  Taravella’s Attackman Matt Marcus (Jr) and Midfielder Derek Carter (So) combined for two goals in the last five minutes of the game to pull ahead for the last time. It was a hard fought contest with ground balls and faceoff wins making the difference for Taravella. Other goals were scored by Attack Sophomore Tyler Nash and Senior Midfielder Joseph Monterrey. This is Coach Joe Chiarella’s first game and win as a HS Coach for Taravella.                             Both teams are back in action tonight as Taravella travels to North Broward Prep and CSC hosts Cardinal Gibbons.
