Jerry O’Connor is a junior D-Pole at The Benjamin School. He attended Jake Reed’s Nike Blue Chip, New England Top 150, and Hotbeds where he made all-star team. O’Connor  also considered Notre Dame, Harvard, Brown, and Bryant. In addition to lacrosse he played outside linebacker and tight end on the football team. He maintains a 4.25 GPA and plans on majoring in Business. From Jerry, “First of all, I would like to thank all of the coaches that have helped to shape me into the player and person that I am today, including Billy Allen, Jim Jacobs, and Coach Cheatham. A big thanks goes to Coach Rye for putting countless hours into both our school and travel team in order to give us the best chance at achieving success and for also personally helping me every week to get faster and stronger. I would also like to thank Coach Goldberg for coaching me this summer during Hotbeds and for helping me become a better player and person. Finally, I would like to thank my loving parents for their constant support throughout this long process and for giving me the resources to play this great game. I would not be at the point where I am today without all of these great people and I am forever grateful to each and every one of them.”
