Thomas, Coppolino, and Pinneke All Take AA Honors for Rollins

GRAND LAKE, Colo. (May 14, 2015) – Rollins placed three on the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse All-America teams, it was announced on Thursday. In total the IWLCA honored 48 student-athletes with a selection on the Division II All-America teams for 2015.
Tyler Thomas was named to the first team while Kristina Coppolino and Chelsea Pinneke took home third team honors. Ty. Thomas and Pinneke had already been named first team All-South Region while Coppolino was named to the South Region second team.
The SSC Player of the Year, Thomas set new program highs for goals and points in a season and moved into third place all-time in career goals (146) and fourth in points (170).
Pinneke set a new Rollins single season record for draw controls with 60 while also adding 12 goals and three assists for 15 points. Coppolino finished second on the team with 40 goals and led the team with 28 assists for 68 points, the second most in a single season in Rollins history.
The IWLCA will honor the National All-Americans at the IWLCA All-American banquet on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Radisson Hotel Valley Forge in King Prussia, Pa.
