Timber Creek Runs Away From Freedom High School (Orlando)

Written by Lee Roggenburg on . Posted in .
Timber Creek overpowered Freedom High School on Tuesday evening.  Timber Creek started fast with a 10-2 first quarter and controlled the pace of play the rest of the way. In all, nine Wolves accounted for 18 goals including hat tricks by Steve Torres, Nate Gillan, and Mike McAllister.  Gillan added four assists, McAllister three assists, and Torres had two. Bruce Preeschl had 2g, 2a, Preston Hopkins scored twice as did  Marco Montero.  Evan Walker, Jake Sousa, and Austin Herborn each added a goal. Steve Williams was definitely a bright spot for Freedom.  Their solid “go-to” middie worked hard at both ends of the field.  He scored twice and assisted on another.  Issac also scored twice for Freedom.  Tremendously athletic, he proved to be a fast, dangerous player that the much more experienced defensive middies for Timber Creek had a hard time containing. Timber Creek improves to 3-2 for the season and are scheduled to take on Trinity Prep (2-1) at home on Thursday. Freedom drops to 0-4 and will travel to Olympia (1-3) on Thursday.
