thanks to the Tampa SI Department for the press release   4/20/2015 MELBOURNE, Fla. – Austin Jerhoff (R-Fr., Calgary, Alberta) of Lynn University is the SSC Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week. A.J. Arnold (So., Southborough, Mass.) of the University of Tampa is named the SSC Men’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for the second time.  

  Jerhoff and Arnold were selected SSC Athletes of the Week from a pool of nominees for their performances during the week of April 13-19. This is Arnold’s second SSC Player of the Week honor. Arnold had a key game in goal for Tampa as they picked up a 10-8 win over conference foe Florida Tech. The sophomore saved 15 of the 23 shots on goal in the game to post a save percentage of 65.2%. He faced a total of 42 shots on the day and made some crucial stops down the stretch to hold off the Panthers and clinch home field for the SSC tournament beginning this Friday. Arnold and Spartans will host the SSC tournament this Friday and Sunday.
