BOSTON (May 15, 2017) – Denver Outlaws goalie Jack Kelly was named the Warrior Defensive Player of the Week for Week 4. He made a season-high 20 saves in the Outlaws’ 15-8 win against the Launch on Saturday.
Kelly, 22, allowed single-digit goals for the third time this season in the win to earn Coca-Cola Player of the Game. He currently leads all MLL goalies in wins (4), goals against average (8.00) and save percentage (.624). Kelly also earned Defensive Player of the Week honors in Week 13 last season.
In eight games as a rookie last year, Kelly went 6-1 with a 12.55 goals against average and .545 save percentage, earning Cascade Rookie of the Year honors.
