BOSTON (May 15, 2017) – Chesapeake Bayhawks attackman Jay Carlson was named the Warrior Offensive Player of the Week for Week 4. Carlson scored the game-winning goal with 16 seconds remaining in the Bayhawks’ 17-16 win at Charlotte on Sunday. For Carlson, 25, the game-winning goal was his second goal of the game and he also added two assists. In his first full season in Chesapeake, Carlson has five goals and three assists through three games. He has scored at least one goal in all seven career games played for the Bayhawks dating back to last season. He is the second straight Chesapeake player to win Offensive Player of the Week after Myles Jones took the honor in Week 3. In four games for Chesapeake last year, the Maryland product tallied 13 points with eight goals and five assists.
