The Wellington Wolverines opened the District 23 playoffs with a 15-1 victory over Cardinal Newman. The Wolverines were led by senior Tyler Kuhlman, 3 goals and 5 assists, sophomore Patrick Oporto , 4 goals 1 assist and junior Thomas Oporto 3 goals. Junior Ryan Milano scored for Cardinal Newman.
