Written by Lee Roggenburg on . Posted in .
Winter Park junior attack  Matt Krecicki had a huge week last week on stepped up for his team when he was needed. He scored 8 goals and had 2 assists in an important district win over Oviedo HS to secure the number one seed in the District tournament at the end of the season.  He followed that up with a 7 goal and 1 assist performance in a 13-12 win over Bartram Trail. On the season Matt has accumulated 32 goals and 7 assists, demonstrating his ability to finish when the opportunity is there. Coach Ryan Healey says of this star attackman,  “Matt has been excelling both in the classroom and on the practice field. His work ethic has been outstanding minus the brief period that he missed practice last week. Matt is a great in tight finisher and a dangerous outside shooter.” The junior is still uncommitted to any college programs at this point. Congratulations to Matt on being voted the player of the week.
